Большинство зумов при зумировании фокус не теряют.
К сожалению, далеко не все. Такие "нетеряющие" называются parfocal:
Parfocal zooms in the Canon EF lens line-up are essentially limited to the fixed-aperture L-series category and front-focusing zoom lenses.
(Ткни в сцылочку, там есть список parfocal линз от кенона).
